Farewell to 2011 and Hello to a Lovely 2012

This past year has been a tough one but so much has been learned. The good and the bad have made me stronger and 2012 is looking mighty bright!

My hopes for 2012 are simple and pure...

• Health for all my family and friends, especially my bestie, Megan
• Growth for my businesses
• Better Time Management Skills
• Take some much needed to trips, both for Business and Pleasure
• And most off all...Grow with God, I admit I slacked this past year when times took a turn for the worst

Whatever you do this New Year's Eve please be safe. 2012 is ours for the taking!

Crazy Goodness In My World

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far and seeing amazing these happening in their lives. There is so crazy goodness in my world right now and I just have to share. "Sharing is Caring" lol.

So as I mentioned, I won a TV last Thursday at an event at Hughes Hanger and it was amazing because I never win anything. Well this past Tuesday I joined HOUSTON Modern Luxury Magazine as they celebrated Verizon's new Droid RAZR at Hughes Hanger. It was a wonderful event even though it was FREEZING outside. As you entered the event you received a card with a barcode that the Verizon reps would scan to let you know what you won. Everyone who went before me was getting "$50 off a Verizon product" so I was ready for mine to say the same thing. I handed my card over, which it took forever to actually scan, and next thing I know I see "You're A Winner" pop up on the screen! She tells me I have to pick one of 4 envelopes to see what I actually won so I pick number three and the card says "Droid RAZR by Motorola!" Are you kidding me? I won a phone?!? I just told ya'll I don't win anything but something is in the stars and I thank God for whatever the reason for these blessings are.

Wednesday, I met up with my publicist / mentor / big sis and we turned in my consignment form at Heights Beatniks. Yep, that's right, P.S. You're Lovely will be available at Heights Beatniks in the very near future. The next step is planning the trunk show so look out for info in the coming weeks.

What's In a Look: OMG I Won A TV

Yep, you heard me right! I won a TV! I'll post a pic of me with my TV later but I just wanted to show off my outfit! I think the magic is in the outfit because I was feeling myself that night lol.

002Media had their launch party at Hughes Hanger (if you've never been here you need to check it out) and it was a rocking event as always. Towards the end of the night they had a drawing, the 1st drawing was for a wine basket and a very handsome friend of mine won! Of course at that moment I knew we needed to move closer so we could hear the names although I NEVER win anything. The next drawing was for $250 worth of business cards and postcards for your business, the last drawing was for a 32in Vizio Flat Screen TV. The guy reaches into the fish bowl and I see something that looks like my card but I'm just sure he's gonna drop it. Next thing I know he calls out "Crystal Milton of P.S. You're Lovely!" You know I couldn't believe it and tried my best not to scream and run like it was Price is Right lol.

Like I said I promise to post a pic with my TV later but I didn't get one in that night. Celebration was in order after that lol.

What's in a Look: Flock Party

Last night I had the pleasure of joining FLOCK for their block party with YELP at the zoo. All I can say is these people know how to party in the cold all while supporting the Houston Zoo! Spiked Apple Cider from Deep Eddy's was my fav or all the beverages provided. Sweet Tea Vodka anyone? The sponsor list went on for days...St. Arnold, Momentum Audi, Shipley's Donuts, some amazing Greek place and I can't remember the name...it was amazing!

What's In a Look

Let me start by saying...If you had any idea how long it took me to get this one picture done lol. This was after a very productive "Coffee Break", a mix and mingle event called Reveal at Cha Champagne and Wine Bar (one of my fav spots), a stop by Fox Hollow (another great spot) to visit a friend, and a late dinner at Max's Wine Dive. I know it's crazy but its my life.

I just love the mix of textures and colors in this outfit! I must admit I'm kinda proud of myself.

Plum Sweater, black short sleeve cardigan, navy blue pencil skirt (the material slips my mind), black tights, teal suede heels, mustard yellow scarf, and Pearl Earrings of course!!

Anyway, I promise the photos will get better and hopefully the outfits will help you think outside the box as well.
